Everyone needs a “Krista” in their life, and how lucky am I to have had you there to welcome both my babies into this world.

I was holding a lot of fear around birth due to previous losses/miscarriages and medical interventions. I knew I needed additional support to improve my mindset for our impending birth.
Knowledge is definitely power ,and with our babe being 12 days past his estimated due date , I’m not sure I would have hung in there and birthed Jasper naturally with no inducement or interventions had it not been for Krista and the support of my partner.
Krista is such a gentle yet strong soul, & I feel so grateful that she was able to be our doula & part of one the most important & special times in our lives. I feel lucky to have met Krista as my doula & to now call her my friend.
During labour (which was long) Krista did not leave my side and supported every decision we made. She helped using spinning babies, kept me hydrated, massaged me, got Luke coffee and encouraged me during every moment until our son arrived.
Things would have gone so differently, I would have just done what I was told, been rushed through, stayed confused with all the technical words & terms used and come out on the other side not as strong a mother for our little girl.
Her beautiful nature added so much calm to the long labour, and her experience in optimal baby positioning and comfort measures throughout labour, solidified in me that I wanted to experience that type of support for the birth of my fourth baby.
What I have learnt through this whole experience is that good support is worth so much more than all the "stuff" we could have bought for our baby. Hiring Krista as our doula was money well spent.
During very challenging circumstances, being the outbreak of COVID-19, it was such a relief to know that we had Krista in our corner throughout our pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.

What can I say about Krista? I don’t think there’s enough space to write everything I need/want to say, but Krista helped my husband and I through one of the toughest times in our lives.
